That's why the QR doesn't show your home address. A traditional tag exposes your details to anyone walking past the belt; the QR only reveals what's needed to return the bag, and you choose what to include.
Yes, and it's the most common case. When the airline tag is torn off — which is exactly why bags get lost — the QR is still attached and identifies the owner without relying on the airline's system.
The page is shown in the language of the phone scanning it, out of 15 available. If your suitcase surfaces in Istanbul or Tokyo, whoever finds it reads it in their own language.
The best approach is to combine: one on the handle with a rigid tag and an adhesive one inside the lid. If the outer one is ripped off, the inner one appears as soon as somebody opens the bag to identify it.
It's better to use one code per bag so you can tell them apart. From a single account you generate several item QRs, each with its own description.
You can download it in high resolution and print it wherever you like, or ask for it already printed if you don't have a printer. Either way the code is the same and never changes: if you edit your data later, the copy you already printed stays up to date.
